National Children's Dental Health Month - Date Announced! 2/06/2024
Once a year Sikka Dental participates in this community outreach event and offers FREE dental cleanings to all children up to age 13 years old. This is a in office, one day event that is normally announced in December. Appointments are required so please call the office today to reserve your time today! This event is always open to the public so you do NOT need to be a current patient to participate. TEACHER/SCHOOL SPECIAL OFFER: Sikka Dental also offers school presentations at no charge especially during February but also through out the year. We would come to your class to discuss oral health and proper teeth brushing and other cool dental information. Sikka Dental March Madness
During the month of March try your "shot" at a basketball hoop to win some in office prizes, discounts, or coupons towards your dental treatment. An appointment is NOT needed, but you do need to be a new or existing patient. Shots can be made anytime during regular office hours.
April - 2024 Oral Cancer Awareness Month (Public Event)
April is a very important month for us. We partner up with the Oral Cancer Foundation (a non profit organization) to offer a day of FREE Oral Cancer Screenings. We often also will do a additional day the is not free but is low cost. Sikka Dental also tries to help raise money for a donation towards the Oral Cancer Foundation during our low cost event. This screening appointment is normally no more then 15 minutes and we use a tool named Velscope. This tool has been featured on Dr. Oz and The Doctors Television shows. These events are in office, appointments are required and a this event is open to the public.

Since Sikka Dental is directly impacted by Autism we are extra motivated to help raise donations for this cause. Being able to treat special needs patients is special part of our dental practice that warms our hearts. We hope that you can donate your time and/or money.

Facial Protection Awareness Month
Sikka Dental will be participating in National Facial Protection Month. During this time we will be offering discounted personalized sports guards for patients and the public. Say Cheese! Sikka Dental Visits OMS
SIKKA DENTAL VISITS OPEN MIND SCHOOL!
On Wednesday morning, Sikka Dental group came onsite to do a class presentation and oral exam for our students.
Students worked on a behavior mapping assignment to outline the expected and unexpected behavior during a dental exam. Staff read a book with dental exam details to the students and encouraged them to visualize the information and ask questions.
Our service dog Dekle took the lead and showed off his patience will others help him brush his teeth. We talked about independence and support and when each is an important skill to consider. A very warm thank you to Sikka Dental for a wonderful presentation and demo. There are folders in student backpacks with additional information. Students who sent in consent forms have their dental exam feedback forms in their backpacks. Remember to brush and floss regularly!

Adult Dental Health Month (Date to be determined)
In addition to our February special for national children's dental health month, we like to extend the offer the Big Kids as well. We will be offering a 1 day event for in office FREE dental cleanings for adults ages 14 and up.
September 2024
Invisalign Consults
We will be offering FREE Invisalign consultations where we would be able to see if you qualify for the clear tray orthodontic system. This consultation will include a full set of x-rays and intra oral photos which are needed to make a fair assessment of your personal situation. If you decide to continue with treatment we will be also offering discounted pricing depending on the length of your case.
